Simple principle - intelligent solution - excellent results

Are you looking for a solution to capture small to medium-sized quantities of pollutants which is economical, energy-efficient and flexible at the same time? KEMPER Push-Pull Systems are exactly the right solution. Because personal protective equipment, such as the KEMPER autoflow XP® respiratory protection system, protects the welder, however it does not protect his colleagues.

The KEMPER Push-Pull System uses the thermal characteristics of welding fumes which at first rise and then accumulate at a certain height. There they are caught up by the air flow from the system and then sucked into the central extraction system.

The result is quantities of smoke in the air which are more than acceptable. And all for a limited amount of investment and overhead. What is more, you can save energy on top of that by retaining and circulating warm air.

How it works

The outlet and/or inlet ducts (push-pull) are installed at a height of around 4-6 metres and directly connected to the central extraction and filter system. Depending on factory layout and size, this can be done with one or several units. If the welding fumes move upwards as a result of the thermal effect and reach the zone between the inlet and outlet apertures, then they are moved in a controlled manner towards the inlet aperture. There the contaminated air enters the system, the toxins are separated out at the filter cartridges and the clean air re-enters the factory building through the outlet aperture. A simple principle which gives good results.

If need be, the system can be extended flexibly, if for instance, further welding areas are added. In addition, it can also be combined with other systems.
Before a KEMPER push-pull system is installed, the work environment and the factory layout are analysed in detail. In the process, factors such as the size of the factory building and of the affected area, the manufacturing processes and the distribution of the production halls are included in the assessment. Thus for every application, we are able to find an individual solution which is optimally matched to the needs and conditions.

Advantages:

• Protection for employees, tools and machines from fine particulates
• The system is modular and thus easy to extend
• Low noise level
